Something Brewing
Established in business since the 1960's, our family entered the home wine and beer making industry in the mid 1970's, with the first branch of " Something Brewing " opening in Cheadle, Manchester. This branch at St.Annes-on-Sea followed in1978, with three further branches opening at Preston, Chorlton-cum Hardy, and Macclesfield, with homebrew well into it's heyday.
Back where we started now at St.Annes, we have a steady and regular trade of loyal customers both old and young, who seem to enjoy our friendly and knowledgeable staff, and good service. During The 1990's "Something Brewing" picked up numerous Retailer of the Year awards from companies including Paine's Malt Ltd., and Ritchie Products Ltd.
We stock most of the well known brands of wine and beer kits, as well as some of the less conspicuous varieties, equipment of all kinds, wine racks, wine presses etc.
Situated just inland from St.Annes main square, in a parade of shops in St.Albans road, with a free car park opposite. Opening times are 9am - 5pm weekdays, 9am - 4.00pm Saturday. Wednesday - closed all day.
