'A true home-from-home' - that really is how best to describe Langdales Care Home. Located on a quiet, tree-lined avenue just off Whitegate Drive, the home enjoys an enviable location - close to the heart of the town that is still home to many of the people we support. From the comfort of our lovely lounge the ladies and gentlemen can sit and watch the world go by, safe in the knowledge that all their care needs are being well met.

When you step into Langdales you will be struck by how very welcoming, friendly and warm all the staff are, and how important that is to the atmosphere in the home. Everyone takes such a huge level of pride in the jobs that they do - whatever department they work in - they are all incredibly proud of their work and their environment. There's always a bit of a buzz about the place as well - with plenty of activities chosen by all residents individually which keep them engaged and busy with a variety of projects, big and small, on a daily basis.

Our lovely home offers superb residential care and we are happy to offer pre-bookable respite stays as well. All our spacious bedrooms are beautifully decorated offering such a variety of approaches we are sure you will be able to find one you will like!
